The Madas RG/2M Series Gas Pressure Regulator is a spring-loaded, direct-acting gas pressure governor engineered for commercial heating plants, industrial furnace trains, and gas sub-metering stations. Designed to stabilize upstream pressure fluctuations and supply constant outlet pressure to downstream meters and burners, the RG/2M is compliant with European Standard EN 88-2 and UK gas safety directives.
Key Engineering Highlights:
- EN 88-2 Certified: Fully approved according to EN 88-2 class A regulator standards for inlet pressures up to 500 mbar.
- Compensated Balancing Diaphragm: Integrated double-diaphragm compensation ensures constant set outlet pressure even during severe inlet pressure drops.
- Zero Governor / Lock-Up Security: Guarantees tight positive lock-up shut-off at zero gas flow to prevent pressure creep into sensitive submeters.
- Interchangeable Calibration Springs: Fine outlet pressure adjustment via top set-screw (standard 1323 mbar, with options from 9 mbar up to 150 mbar).
- Threaded & Flanged Range: Covers pipework from 1/2" BSP screwed up to DN150 PN16 flanged commercial mains.
