The Metrix UG Series Diaphragm Gas Meter is the UK industry standard for residential, commercial, and industrial gas submetering. Engineered with synthetic diaphragms, reciprocating slide valves, and high-linearity metrological registers, the Metrix UG series is suitable for natural gas, LPG, and town gas. Featuring standard UK BS746 connection centres and integrated pulse output capabilities, it provides robust, reliable billing data for tenant submetering and plant efficiency monitoring.
Key Engineering Highlights:
- MID Approved (EN 1359 Class 1.5): Fully certified for fiscal custody transfer and commercial submetering under European and UK Metrology Regulations.
- Standard UK BS 746 Connections: Designed with standard UK centres (110mm, 152mm, and 280mm) to allow direct drop-in replacement without repiping.
- Pulsed Output (LF Reed Switch): Equipped with an internal magnet disc in the counter head, allowing plug-in low-frequency reed transmitters (PTN) without breaking metrological seals.
- Low Pressure Loss: Superior internal valve design guarantees a total pressure drop of less than 2.0 mbar at maximum capacity (Qmax).
- Robust Steel / Cast Housing: Deep-drawn steel casing with electrophoretic protective coating prevents corrosion in plant rooms and external meter kiosks.
