The Madas Automatic & Manual Reset Gas Solenoid Safety Valve Series (EV & M16) provides fast-acting, fail-safe isolation of gas supply pipework during emergency situations, gas leak detection, commercial kitchen interlocks, or boiler plant room shutdowns. Designed to default closed upon power de-energisation, Madas solenoid valves are engineered in full compliance with BS EN 161 Class A standards.
Key Engineering Highlights:
- BS EN 161 Class A Certified: Complies with European and UK gas safety directives for automatic safety shut-off valves.
- Normally Closed Fail-Safe Operation: Valve remains securely closed when de-energised, instantly shutting off gas in <1 second upon power loss or alarm trigger.
- Automatic or Manual Reset Options: Choose automatic opening valves for burner sequencing or manual reset models for kitchen interlocks and plant rooms.
- Integrated CPI Closed Position Indicator: Optional visual/electrical proof-of-closure microswitch to signal closed status back to the BMS or fire alarm.
- Wide Supply Voltage Range: Available in 230V AC, 110V AC, and 24V AC/DC coils with continuous 100% ED duty rating.
