The Common CGR Series Rotary Gas Meter is a high-precision, positive-displacement rotary piston meter engineered for custody transfer and commercial sub-metering of natural gas, LPG, and technical inert gases. Designed with a wide measuring range and robust aluminum housing, the CGR series is ideal for commercial boiler rooms, industrial process plants, CHP installations, and multi-occupancy tenant sub-billing.
Key Engineering Highlights:
- MID Approved (EN 12480 Class 1.0): Fully approved for fiscal custody transfer and commercial tenant billing with high-accuracy positive displacement measurement.
- High Dynamic Rangeability: Dynamic turn-down ratio of 1:50 standard (up to 1:250 on request) ensures precise measurement even during low summer burner firing rates.
- Compact Wafer / Flanged Body: Lightweight anodised aluminium casing designed for easy sandwich installation between PN16 / ANSI 150 flanges.
- BMS & Data Logger Interfacing: Fitted with low-frequency (LF) reed pulse transmitter as standard, with options for HF inductive sensors and external volume corrector (PTZ) integration.
- 350° Rotating Index Head: Allows effortless reading and cable termination regardless of whether the meter is installed horizontally or vertically.
